Job Description

As BIM Specialist, you will be responsible for the initial conceptualisation to the final construction phase and will be following site maintenance. More specifically, you will:


Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders; Ensure a seamless integration of BIM technology throughout the project; Act as coordinator, managing digital models, and contributing to design optimisation; Play a major role in data management, overseeing the creation, organisation, and maintenance of digital models; Promote effective communication and information exchanges; Streamline project workflows, reducing errors and improving overall performance and efficiency; Responsible for managing project outputs like drawings and documents; Provide continuous support to the Project team and coordinate with Operation; Engage in detailed analysis and documentation; Harness BIM tools to conduct simulations, clash detection, and performance analysis, providing valuable insights for project optimisation. The documentation ensures that every aspect of the project is recorded, creating a digital footprint for future reference.

Qualifications


College diploma or Bachelor degree in a relevant field Minimum of five (5) years experience in BIM engineer; Develop high-precision 3D models using BIM software Work in diverse construction environments like commercial, industrial, educational and healthcare-related projects; Ability to work independently with little direction; Ability to easily express oneself and to articulate one's ideas; Bilingual in French and English; Proficiency in English is required for this position, as the incumbent will be required to interact with our English-speaking clients, partners, and suppliers; Excellent professionalism and work ethic; Good sense of priorities and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously; Excellent problem-solving skills; Knowledge and ease of use of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.); * Successful completion of the investigation and security clearance process required by the federal government's Contract Security Program.
