Hiring: Respite Worker for Autistic Youth with Behavioral Needs (Panorama Hills NW)
Looking for an experienced respite worker to support a smart, autistic 18-year-old youth who has limited speech, anxiety and aggression. He can be very dysregulated and I am looking for someone who can stay calm and positive under pressure. He understands far more than he can say, and needs someone who presumes competence, stays calm, and genuinely enjoys working 1:1. Looking for 6-8 hours a week (2 shifts mostly on weekends). Needs might vary according to the week. Some weekday evening availability is a plus.
Shifts: Flexible
Location: Panorama Hills NW
Duration: Nov-Feb (possibly extending later into the year)
Men preferred, but open to women with the right experience and calm energy.
Job Types: Part-time, Casual, Freelance
Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour
