Inclusive Care Access Network is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Respite Worker to provide support for a child living at home with family. They require the following hours which may be considered a full time position, or can be split between two caregivers.

Responsibilities of General Respite with Limitless

Provide personalized care and companionship to individuals with disabilities. Learn the preferences and desires of the person you are supporting, and seek experiences that they choose to take part in. Engage clients in recreational and social activities to enhance their well-being. Implement safety care plans tailored to each client's unique needs. Monitor and document client progress and communicate observations to families and supervisors. Ensure a safe and supportive environment for clients. Transport clients to and from community activities (if required).

Qualifications

Certification in First Aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A valid driver's license, clear driver's abstract and reliable transportation is an asset. Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Checks are required. NVCIS

SPECIFIC TO THIS CLIENT:

Must be available to provide care Monday to Friday: 7:30am-8:30am AND 2:30pm-7:00pm AND/OR Saturday 9am-5pm and Sundays 3pm -9pm. Toileting is required Consistency and reliability is a must Experience working in the disability services field is an asset
