We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and a commitment to providing high-quality food service. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals in accordance with our restaurant's standards, ensuring that every dish is served with excellence.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards. Ensure food safety and sanitation practices are followed at all times. Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to management. Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols. Adhere to portion control guidelines to minimize waste while maintaining quality.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred. Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. Familiarity with various cooking techniques, equipment, and food preparation methods. A passion for the food industry and commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
