As an Residential New Construction Operations Manager, you will be working directly with our General Manager to develop and learn the skills required to move into multi-functioning dynamic role whereby you will be responsible for:

• Project Oversight: Manage the execution of residential new construction projects from planning to completion, ensuring adherence to company standards, timelines, and budgets.
• Team Management: Lead and support the Plumbing and HVAC teams, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Quality Control: Ensure all work meets company and industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Coordination & Communication: Act as the primary point of contact between builders, contractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless execution of projects.
• Budgeting & Cost Control: Monitor project expenses, reduce waste, and optimize operational efficiency.
• Scheduling & Logistics: Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring all materials, equipment, and labor resources are available as needed.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure job sites comply with all applicable safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety.
• Problem Solving: Address and resolve any project-related issues, working proactively to prevent delays and cost overruns
• Reporting: Provide regular updates to the General Manager on project status, challenges, and key performance indicators.


Specific qualifications for the Operations Manager position include:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in residential new construction, with a strong understanding in both plumbing and HVAC systems.
• Previous leadership experience in a management or supervisory role.
• In-depth knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams, builders, and contractors.
• Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Strong interpersonal, customer relations and problem-solving skills and the proven ability to effectively organize tasks and manage time.
• Extracurricular activities involving leadership responsibilities
• Experience with P&L
