The purpose of the Residential Building Cleaner role is to maintain the general upkeep of the assigned building, keeping the building clean and in orderly condition. The role will be responsible for ensuring safe and sanitary storage and care of products. Duties include notifying management of the need for repairs. Key duties and responsibilities include the following;

• Undertake cleaning, scrubbing, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and washing of all public areas of the building, including all hallways, walkways and lobbies, elevators, bicycle room, mailroom, and mechanical room.
• Clean and organize public sundecks and patios, including cleaning BBQ and pool deck, tenant lounge.
• Clean/wash gym equipment.
• Empty garbage bins and clean/sweep the garbage area.
• Clean fire hose cabinets and extinguishers on each floor.
• Use floor cleaning equipment such as buffer/shampooer.
• Maintaining and upkeep of all cleaning equipment, supplies, and products.
• Ensuring safe and sanitary storage and care of products.
• Keeping all public spaces neat and tidy.
• Reporting repairs and replacements needed when encountered on the job.
