Job Description

We are seeking a highly professional and experienced Security Guard to provide concierge services for a residential building in Calgary, Alberta. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the building and its residents, as well as providing excellent customer service to residents and visitors. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular patrols of the building and surrounding grounds to ensure safety and security
• Monitor and operate security systems and equipment, such as surveillance cameras and access control systems
• Respond to emergencies and provide assistance as needed
• Assist residents and visitors with any requests or concerns
• Keep accurate records of security incidents and report any suspicious activity to the appropriate authorities
• Perform basic concierge duties, such as directing visitors and handling package deliveries
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in security or a related field
• Valid security guard license in Alberta
• Strong knowledge of security protocols and procedures
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to remain calm under pressure
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Available to work night shifts
