Resident Care Worker

Job Description
The Resident Care Worker is the personal care provider for residents within the Long-Term Care setting. Under supervision of a registered nurse, the primary responsibility is to deliver person-centered care in a professional, high quality, holistic manner that considers the resident's physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual needs.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school Diploma or equivalent as recognized by the Employer Resident Care Worker certification program or equivalent as recognized by the Employer Good Communication and Judgement Skills Capable of sustained physical activity Additional Training in dementia care or palliative is an asset
Other Qualifications:
Experience in Alzheimer and related dementia would be an asset. Additional relevant education and experience will be considered an asset.
