Your day-to-day:




Under the authority of the general maintenance and general services foreman, reservation agent manages reservations related to on-site accommodations by processing requests received by email, in person, or by phone.


The person in this position must ensure the smooth flow of people and provide professional service while complying with mine-specific procedures and standards. They are responsible for helping customers with questions and concerns and providing a positive customer service experience. They also provide administrative support that is essential to the smooth operation of accommodation logistics.

Handle accommodation reservations for employees, contractors, and visitors to the mine site. Process and adjust existing reservations as needed. Manage transportation (arrivals, departures, baggage weighing) for employees, contractors, and visitors, in coordination with the site's transportation services. Welcome and register employees, contractors, and visitors, ensuring compliance with site-specific protocols. Manage the room key system. Provide and respond to customer questions about the services offered. Manage room availability, particularly for worker rotations, and organize rooms based on occupancy forecasts. Respond to workers' requests regarding their accommodation, related services (repairs, supply requests, etc.) and specific needs. Handle urgent or specific requests according to the mining site's priorities. All other administrative tasks.

Your qualifications:



Experience in a demanding work environment or in hospitality management is desirable; experience in the industrial or mining sector is an asset. Excellent communication skills, ability to interact with people at different levels of the hierarchy. Highly rigorous in complying with safety standards and procedures. Good interpersonal skills and ability to handle situations calmly and professionally. Team spirit and ability to collaborate effectively with different departments on site (logistics, security, human resources management). Discretion and ability to handle confidential information. Organizational skills and ability to manage large flows of staff and visitors.

o Proficiency in computer reservation and management tools (Excel, mining-specific software, etc.).o Class 5 driver's license.

Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a 14/14 FIFO schedule. Fluent in French is essential. Functional spoken and written English. Experience working in a multicultural environment is an asset.
