Reservation Sales Agent, seasonal contract to mid-April
Reservations Sales Agents will be responsible for selling and booking dogsled tours by phone and email. Various office duties include providing tour information by email or phone, guest payments and booking confirmations, tour snack preparation, trip scheduling and dispatch, marketing and promotions, daily reconciliations and record keeping, general office tasks and cleaning. This is a non-smoking position.

This position is a desk and telephone office - no interaction with the general public other than by phone and email. Must be able to work independently in an office with a great view!

Applicants must have computer and sales experience, excellent key-boarding skills, and great interpersonal skills. Must be organized and have great attention to detail. Must have good communication with team members and supervisors. Marketing and bookkeeping experience an asset, or work in busy retail or office setting. Must be able to work independently. Shift work and weekend work is required. Housing is not available; preference is given to Canmore residents. The position is based out of an office that is on the second floor with no elevator, so employees must be able to walk up 2 flights of stairs.

Hourly rate is $17, plus a $1 per hour contact completion bonus. Possible increase with added responsibility.

Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week
