Research FacilitatorPrimary Purpose: To use specialized knowledge of the research community and the research funding enterprise to assist faculty with the development of funding proposals for research projects and strategic initiatives important to the University of Saskatchewan, to increase success in securing funding, and to manage the University of Saskatchewan's participation in major research Tri-Council funding programs.Nature of Work: Accountable to the College of Law's Associate Dean Research and Graduate Studies and operationally to the Director of Administration, this position supports faculty members in their research endeavours by: identifying opportunities by communicating complex, specialized information on major research funding programs and research policies; and by advising on budgetary and project management activities. The Research Facilitator will assist with proposal development, application strategies and project design. This position requires in-depth knowledge spanning provincial, federal and international research funding opportunities in order to effectively assist faculty with proposal development, ensuring that each proposal supports the strategic directions of the College of Law and University of Saskatchewan. The individual also acts as an interface between the faculty member and the Research Services administrative team. The Research Facilitator will work independently with minimal supervision as well as in a variety of integrated team environments to ensure harmonization of these activities.Accountabilities:
