About the Opportunity

The Research Coordinator (non-clinical) coordinates research projects within the Multiple Sclerosis Epidemiology research program. This program includes a several studies, primarily a five year CIHR-funded team grant that will recruit participants across Canada and capture data using remote data collection strategies with the goal of understanding how biologic factors, environmental exposures and life experiences affect health in people with multiple sclerosis. This coordination includes:
the administration of the study, study screening, recruitment, enrollment and follow-up
ensuring study documentation and study files are appropriately maintained
obtaining and documenting informed consent
acting as the initial point of contact for study participants to answer questions or address problems and follow-up as appropriate
ensure that telephone interviews are completed by the interview team
assists with collection of saliva samples by mail
monitors study timelines
creates source documents
maintains documentation related to research ethics approval and monitoring
monitors budgets/invoices as required
About You
-------------
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
Completion of a relevant Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Masters of Science preferred.
Medical Terminology course preferred
Experience with patient screening and informed consent required
Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) or Certified Clinical Research Associate (CCRA) designation considered an asset or Society of Clinical Research Associates( SOCRA) designation is also considered as asset.
Relevant clinical experience considered an asset
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint), email and internet required
Proficiency in REDCap required
Proficiency with statistical analysis an asset
Experience with knowledge mobilization activities an asset
Effective interpersonal and communication skills required
Demonstrated time management and organizational skills
Ability to work well independently as well as within a multidisciplinary team environment
Demonstrated research and analytical thinking skills
Previous experience in a relevant field preferred
Previous research experience strongly preferred
Knowledge of multiple sclerosis an asset
Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Long Assignment, 70% to 100% FTE / Hours Range from 56.25 to 75 Hours Bi-weekly
October 2025 to October 2026, approximately 12 months
May be renewable for an additional 12 months
Compensation and Benefits

$27.45 - $34.32 Hourly
