Job Description
BCIT\xe2\x80\x99s Smart Microgrid Applied Research Team ( SMART ) is currently seeking a temporary, part-time (0.5 FTE ) Research Associate \xe2\x80\x93 EV Charging Infrastructure and Data Communications Networks. This is a senior-level hands-on technical position. Functioning as a team leader and an individual contributor, the successful candidate will be responsible for moving the needle on a number of high priority areas among: Virtual Power Plant Market and Industry review; role of Hydrogen in grid resilience, battery technologies and battery lab planning and use of AI in energy system operations planning. The successful candidate will join a multi-discipline team working on leading edge applied research in these areas.
