As a Research Associate working within the Liver group in our Research and Development (R&D) Department, you\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99ll be responsible for independently testing and optimizing internal products, interpreting data, and providing regular reports on your results. By pairing your deep technical knowledge and hands-on expertise in mammalian cell culture and biological assays, you\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99ll drive the optimization of quality products related to hepatocytes.

This position is perfect for BSc graduates who have been working in the field or recent MSc science graduates wanting to continue honing their laboratory and research skills while contributing to the creation of high-quality workflows for researchers around the globe.



Duties and Responsibilities

Understand and experience with mammalian tissue culture and general molecular and cell biology techniques

Maintain and optimize current products, as well as validate new products, product components, and technologies as required\xc3\x82

Keep accurate and detailed records of lab procedures and results, and present data in team meetings

Independently perform data and statistical analysis, interpret and evaluate complex problems, and formulate next steps in the experimental design

Able to provide support and training in cross-department collaborations, may help mentor and train junior members of the team

Knowledge and Qualifications

Bachelors/Diploma with 6-8 years work experience or Masters degree with 2-3 years work experience performing independent laboratory experiments

Knowledge and experience in mammalian cell culturing is required, \xc3\x82 familiarity with 3-dimensional organoid culturing is highly desirable\xc3\x82

Ability to apply critical and analytical thinking to independently design, conduct, analyze, and troubleshoot experiments

Experience with data analysis, presenting your own data to small and large groups, and writing reports is needed\xc3\x82

Ability to work well in a team setting and collaborate with cross-functional groups\xc3\x82 \xc3\x82 \xc3\x82
