Position Summary:
The Sharp Lab for Cognitive Neuroscience of Parkinson's Disease at the Montreal Neurological Institute, McGill University, is seeking a highly motivated Research Assistant who will assist in leading a multi-year clinical research project. The position is available immediately.

The goal of the project is to advance our understanding of the different cognitive and behavioral phenotypes of Parkinson's disease and to identify possible sources of phenotypic heterogeneity, ranging from neural sources to social and environmental sources. The project involves in-person in-depth cognitive phenotyping of participants who are also undergoing neuroimaging at the Montreal Neurological Institute, as well as online data collection in a large pan-Canadian cohort.

The Research Assistant will work closely with graduate students and other lab personnel to organize participant recruitment, data collection (including clinical and cognitive testing of participants), data management and knowledge dissemination. They will also work closely with the principal investigator to provide high-level leadership of the project in order to ensure meeting timelines and objectives, and will have the opportunity to contribute to the preparation of manuscripts. They will also work with the principal investigator to integrate the project with other ongoing projects in the lab.

• Leadership and high-level organization of project including maintenance of timelines, recruitment targets
• Recruitment and scheduling of research participants in-person
• Recruitment of participants to the online study
• Administration of clinical and cognitive tests
• Maintenance of an efficient data management system
• Performing data cleaning and data quality checks
• Data analysis
• Preparing materials for dissemination of results
• Maintaining ethics applications up to date
• Opportunity to contribute to manuscript preparation

Qualifications:

The candidate must have completed a Master's degree in health science, neuroscience, psychology, epidemiology or a related field.
