Position: Research and Development Director
Location: Baie-D\'Urf\xc3\xa9

Our partner, a well-established company in the architectural coating industry, is looking to hire a Research and Development Director to join their team in the West Island of Montreal.

Our client has a lot to offer:

- Competitive salary of $120K to $160K (subject to experience) + 10% annual bonus

Your challenge:

- Manage technical team
- Oversee all aspects of research and development programs and experiments
- Manage and control the preparation of project reports
- Ensure that R&D team keeps daily technical activity records in the form of logbook or computer databases
- Manage the Quality Assurance Program to preserve the quality of finished products
- Provide solutions to overall production and support Procurement and Sales and Marketing teams in technical matters.

Requirements:

- Bachelors in Chemistry or in Chemical Engineering or Materials Sciences
- At least 5 years experience in R&D
- Expertise in paint or other water or solvent-based coatings
- Managerial experience
