As a Research and Development Scientist in Chemistry, you will lead and contribute to cutting-edge research projects aimed at developing novel compounds, materials, and processes. Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership: Lead and manage research projects from conception to execution, ensuring the timely and successful achievement of project goals.
  • Experimental Design: Design and conduct complex experiments to explore chemical reactions, processes, and properties.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret experimental data using advanced analytical techniques and software tools to derive meaningful insights.
  • Innovation: Foster a culture of innovation within the team, proposing and implementing new approaches to address scientific challenges.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including chemists, engineers, and researchers, to integrate findings into product development processes.
  • Product Development: Contribute to the development of new chemical compounds, materials, and technologies, with a focus on scalability and commercialization.
  • Documentation: Maintain meticulous records of experiments, results, and observations, and prepare technical reports and presentations.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory guidelines in all research activities.
Qualifications & Desired Skills
  • Ph.D. in Chemistry or related field with over 5 years of postdoctoral experience or a master\'s degree with 10 years of relevant industry experience. Extensive knowledge of chemical research methodologies and techniques.
  • Proficiency in experimental design and execution.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with chemical modeling and simulation software (e.g., ChemDraw, Gaussian).
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Dedication to maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a research and development role within the chemical industry.
  • Expertise in a specific chemistry subfield (e.g., organic synthesis, materials chemistry, analytical chemistry).
  • Record of scientific publications or patents.
