The Institute for Mental Health Policy Research (IMHPR) at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is seeking a Research Analyst for a full-time, contract (6 month) position. Reporting to the Senior Scientist in charge of the project, a Research Analyst is required to support research on youth mental health. The successful candidate will conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses, review relevant literature, support collaboration with key stakeholders, assist in the writing of manuscripts for peer-reviewed publication, and support knowledge dissemination activities. The successful candidate will support a healthy workplace that embraces diversity, encourages teamwork and complies with all applicable regulatory and legislative requirements. This position is located at 250 College Street, Toronto.The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor (honours) degree in psychology, public health, or related disciplines, in combination with at least one (1) year of related experience in qualitative and quantitative research. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mental health research and qualitative analysis. Previous experience using NVivo software and interpreting qualitative results, conducting comprehensive literature searches, conducting quantitative analysis, and writing papers for peer-reviewed publication are required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and EndNote are required. The candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills, organization skills, attention to detail, and problem solving skills.
