En tant que representant des ventes externes, vous serez charge de developper de nouveaux prospects et d'interagir avec les clients assignes afin d'augmenter les ventes et la marge des produits et/ou services de l'entreprise. Vous vous concentrerez principalement sur les activites de vente en face-a-face et de gestion des comptes afin d'atteindre les objectifs de revenus des ventes en evaluant les besoins des clients et en suggerant les produits, services et/ou solutions appropries et en assurant un processus de vente fluide. Un certain degre de creativite et de latitude est requis. Vous devrez vous engager aupres de tous les niveaux de l'organisation des clients, y compris la direction technique, les operations, la chaine d'approvisionnement et la direction generale. Vous pourrez etre amene a elaborer et a presenter des offres de vente, des presentations, des propositions et/ou des demonstrations de produits.
Responsabilites

  • Executer et developper le(s) plan(s) de compte client assigne(s), developpe(s) en collaboration avec la direction.
  • Executer les initiatives de marge de facturation par le biais de services a valeur ajoutee, de programmes de marketing et de l'engagement des fournisseurs.
  • Prospecter des clients potentiels, notamment par des appels a froid et en developpant des pistes par le biais de canaux de reference.
  • Communiquer avec les clients et les prospects afin d'identifier et de comprendre leurs besoins en matiere de produits ou de services ; identifier et suggerer des produits et des services pour repondre a ces besoins.
  • Demontrer aux clients les fonctions et l'utilite des produits ou services en fonction de leurs besoins.
  • Assurer la satisfaction des clients par une communication et une gestion des relations permanentes ; resoudre les problemes qui peuvent survenir apres la vente.
  • Maintenir la communication avec les clients existants et anciens, en les informant des nouveaux produits, services et ameliorations susceptibles de les interesser.
  • Utiliser les outils de gestion des ventes pour la planification des ventes, la planification des fournisseurs et la documentation des opportunites.
  • Developper et approfondir la connaissance des produits par le biais de la formation WESCO et des fournisseurs.
  • Developper de solides relations avec les fournisseurs, notamment en effectuant regulierement des appels de vente conjoints.
  • Fournir des devis directement ou en collaboration avec l'equipe de soutien aux ventes.
Qualifications
  • Diplome d'etudes secondaires ou equivalent requis ; un baccalaureat est preferable.
  • Experience prealable de la vente requise ; preference pour la vente a l'exterieur
  • Deux ans d'experience dans l'industrie de preference
  • Capacite a voyager pour rencontrer des clients et des fournisseurs actuels et potentiels.
  • Capacite a travailler selon un horaire flexible et a voyager de nuit a l'occasion.
  • Excellentes competences en matiere de vente et de negociation
  • Capacite a elaborer et a presenter des exposes
  • Solides competences interpersonnelles
  • Capacite a communiquer efficacement a l'ecrit et a l'oral
  • Capacite a travailler en equipe
  • Solides competences dans la suite Microsoft Office
  • Connaissance des techniques de publicite et de promotion des ventes (souhaitable)
  • Capacite a voyager de 50 a 75 % du temps.
Environnement de travail : Ventes externes - Le travail est generalement effectue dans un environnement de bureau, mais l'employe peut avoir a se rendre chez des clients ou dans des entrepots. Il peut etre amene a conduire pendant une periode prolongee avec des arrets et des demarrages frequents. Peut etre expose aux conditions meteorologiques exterieures.
As a Representative - Outside Sales, you will be responsible for developing new prospects and interacting with assigned customers to increase sales and margin of the company's products and/or services. Your primary focus will be face-to-face selling and account management activities to meet sales revenue. You will be expected to engage with all levels of the customers' organizations including technical, operations, supply chain and executive management. You may be required to develop and deliver sales bids, presentations, proposals and/or product demonstrations.
Responsibilities:
  • Assess customer needs and suggest products, services and/or solutions and ensure a smooth sales process.
  • Executes and expands assigned customer account plan(s) which is developed in conjunction with management.
  • Executes on billing margin initiatives through value added services, marketing programs, and supplier engagement.
  • Prospects potential customers, including cold calling and developing leads through referral channels.
  • Communicates with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; identifies and suggests products and services to meet those needs.
  • Demonstrates the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs.
  • Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post-sale.
  • Maintains communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest.
  • Utilizes sales management tools for sales planning, supplier planning and documenting opportunities.
  • Develops and grows product knowledge through Wesco and supplier training.
  • Develops strong relationships with suppliers, including performing regular joint sales calls.
  • Provides quotations directly or in conjunction with sales support team.
Qualifications:
  • Valid Driver's License, with a satisfactory driving record required
  • High School Degree or Equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree is preferred
  • Prior sales experience required, outside sales preferred
  • Two years of industry experience preferred
  • Ability to travel to current and potential clients and suppliers
  • Ability to work flexible schedule and occasional overnight travel
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills
  • Ability to develop and deliver presentations
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Effective communicator both written and verbally
  • Ability to work in team environment
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills
  • Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques (Preferred)
  • Ability to travel 50% - 75% of the time
Working Environment: Outside Sales - Work is generally performed in an office environment, but employee may need to travel to customer sites or warehouse facilities. Driving may be required for an extended period of time with frequent stops and starts. Can be exposed to outdoor weather conditions.

For eligible positions, compensation may include participation in a bonus or sales incentive plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plan documents. For certain sales roles, Wesco also offers a commission structure that provides additional compensation based on sales results, as defined by the applicable commission plan. Depending on the role, equity and other forms of compensation may also be provided as part of the total compensation package.
