Le vendeur technique a deux responsabilites principales. Premierement, il promeut les produits et services de l'entreprise aupres des clients potentiels des regions du centre du Quebec et de la rive-sud de Montreal.. Deuxiemement, il est responsable de toutes les activites liees a l'elaboration des soumissions pour des panneaux de controle de toute complexite (tels que des demarreurs, des boites de contacteurs, des relais logiques programmables, des PLC, etc.). De plus, il supervise divers projets d'automatisation pour les clients de l'entreprise.

RESPONSABILITES PRINCIPALES



Promouvoir les activites, produits et services de l'entreprise aupres des clients potentiels et prospecter de nouveaux clients dans son secteur geographique ; Suivre les clients existants et assurer un excellent service apres-vente ; Maintenir des liens constants avec le personnel des autres equipes impliquees dans divers projets d'automatisation ou la preparation des soumissions en cours ; Realiser, lorsque requis, ou collaborer avec les estimateurs et chefs de projet dans le processus de soumission aupres des clients ; Effectuer l'etude detaillee des projets a partir des plans et devis (soumissions) ; Realiser des calculs et estimer la quantite de materiaux necessaires pour les projets ; Estimer le plus precisement possible le cout des materiaux et de la main-d'oeuvre affectes aux projets ; Rediger des devis et des projets d'appel d'offres selon les normes de l'entreprise ; Maintenir le contact avec le client pour obtenir les details de ses besoins et assurer le respect de ses specifications ; Demander des prix et negocier differentes pieces ou composants electriques avec les fournisseurs si necessaire ; Participer chaque semaine a la reunion de gestion des ventes ; Collaborer a la planification du carnet de commandes et des priorites des departements des ventes et des operations ; Participer avec l'equipe technique a l'innovation produit et a l'evolution des differentes pratiques dans le domaine de l'automatisation ; Toutes autres taches connexes.

QUALIFICATIONS :



DEC en genie electrique (technologie de l'electronique industrielle) ou AEC en automatisation industrielle et instrumentation ou DEP en electromecanique des systemes automatises ; Avoir de trois (3) a cinq (5) ans d'experience technique pertinente ; Toute combinaison equivalente de formation et d'experience pertinente peut etre consideree ; Posseder un permis de conduire valide ; Connaissance du code electrique du Quebec et des differentes normes (CSA, UL, etc.) ; Bonne connaissance du controle et de l'automatisation, de l'electricite et/ou de l'electronique ; Connaissances de base en securite des machines ; Connaissance de differents langages de programmation (un atout) ; Capacite a comprendre et analyser les besoins des clients ; Savoir interpreter des plans et des schemas de processus electriques ; Capacite a lire et rediger des documents, des plans et des instructions de travail, et a les expliquer aux concepteurs, programmeurs, monteurs de panneaux ou autres intervenants de l'entreprise ; Capacite a intervenir ou gerer plusieurs projets ou mandats simultanement et dans des delais courts ; Bon esprit d'equipe, professionnalisme, souci du detail, autonomie, precision, rigueur, competences analytiques, resistance au stress et habiletes interpersonnelles ; Avoir de bonnes aptitudes en communication interpersonnelle et une capacite a comprendre certains enjeux commerciaux ; Se tenir a jour des developpements technologiques dans le domaine.

The Technical Salesperson holds two primary responsibilities. Firstly, they promote the company's products and services to prospective customers in Central Quebec regions and Metropolitan Montreal. Secondly, they are responsible for all the activities related to developing submissions for control panels of any level of complexity (such as starters, contactor boxes, programmable logic relays, PLCs, etc). Additionally, they oversee various automation projects for the company's clients.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES



Promote the company's activities, products, and services to potential customers and prospect for new customers within its territory; Follow up with existing customers and ensure excellent after-sales service; Maintain constant links with staff from other teams involved in various automation projects or the preparation of current submissions; Carry out, when required, or collaborate with estimators - project managers in the submission process to clients; Carry out the detailed study of projects based on plans and quotes (submissions); Perform calculations and estimate the quantity of materials needed for projects; Estimate as accurately as possible the cost of materials and labor assigned to projects; Write quotes and tender projects according to company standards; Maintain contact with the customer to obtain details of their needs and ensure compliance with their specifications; Request prices and negotiate different parts or electrical components with suppliers if necessary; Participate weekly in the Sales Management meeting; Collaborate in planning the order book and priorities of sales and operations departments; Participate with the technical team in product innovation and the evolution of different practices in the field of automation; All other related tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS:



DEC in electrical engineering (industrial electronics technology) or AEC in industrial automation and instrumentation or DEP in electromechanics of automated systems; Have three (3) to five (5) years of relevant technical experience; Any equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be considered; Possess a valid driving license; Knowledge of the Quebec electrical code and the various standards (CSA, UL, etc.); Good knowledge of control and automation, electricity, and/or electronics; Basic knowledge of machine safety; Knowledge of different programming languages (an asset); Ability to understand and analyze customer needs; Know how to interpret plans and electrical process diagrams; Ability to read and write documents, plans, and work instructions and ability to explain them to designers, programmers, panel fitters, or other company stakeholders; Ability to intervene or manage several projects or mandates at the same time and within short deadlines; Good team spirit, professionalism, attention to detail, autonomy, precision, accuracy, analytical skills, resistance to stress, and interpersonal skills; Have good interpersonal communication skills and an ability to understand certain business issues; Stay on top of technological developments in the field.
