Opportunity for Summer Students(Information Technology - Reporting Analysis)Alberta Innovates is looking to provide meaningful work experience to students who are currently enrolled in any recognized post-secondary educational institutions. This will be a four-month engagement starting first week of May 2025.Successful candidates will be paid on hourly basis, and work may be up to 36.25 hours every week.The Opportunity

• Job Duties:

The "Reporting Analyst Student" will work with the Manager of Data Platforms to develop PowerBI reports and visualizations, engage with business stakeholders, and perform data quality analysis. They will also work with Azure data fabric, databases, and other data sources to create dashboards and further the goals of the Data Program.

• Background Required:

Education Focus: Business Technology Management, Management Information Systems, Computer Science/Engineering, Data and Analytics.Experience\Education data management (spreadsheets, databases, and other data formats). Functional knowledge with creating dashboards and reports in PowerBI or similar tool. Skillset in client engagement and requirements gathering are also important capabilities. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, Python.

• Physical Demands:
