This is a fast-paced, constantly growing branch, which relies on our team-oriented atmosphere to help maintain and build our customer base. The Rental Counter Representative is a vital position that operates as the direct liaison between staff and customers, and is a key role in developing successful relationships with our customers. Job description \xc2\xb7 Provide excellent customer relations through phone, email and face-to-face, while keeping a positive and professional attitude; \xc2\xb7 Perform assigned tasks with attention to detail and effectively organize all documentation within Company software; \xc2\xb7 Work effectively within a team environment; \xc2\xb7 Operates as the direct liaison between staff and customers; \xc2\xb7 Open and close branch when necessary; \xc2\xb7 Prepare paperwork and contracts for deliveries; update internal product spreadsheets and any other product tracking systems. \xc2\xb7 Facilitate customer calls and walk-ins, including sourcing equipment and supplies, as well as coordinating and securing deliveries; \xc2\xb7 Monitor inventories \xe2\x80\x93 rental equipment and saleable goods; \xc2\xb7 Assist with loading and unloading customer pick-ups when required; \xc2\xb7 Restock product shelves as needed; \xc2\xb7 Prepare and ensure that all deliveries are organized for the following day; \xc2\xb7 Complete daily closing requirements, including, but not limited to, invoice checks, pricing and information accuracy, balance funds; \xc2\xb7 On-call work schedules may be required; \xc2\xb7 Adhere to all workplace safety protocols, environmentally sound behaviours and practices at all times. Job qualifications \xc2\xb7 Proficiency/prior experience with Systematics would be considered an asset; \xc2\xb7 Technical aptitude of CAT equipment and operations would be considered an asset. \xc2\xb7 Experience in Microsoft applications, specifically: Outlook, Word, and Excel; \xc2\xb7 Knowledge of construction equipment and building products; \xc2\xb7 Previous experience in a related field; \xc2\xb7 A self-starter, with a keen sense of time-management and effective planning skills; \xc2\xb7 Professional customer service, and good communication; \xc2\xb7 Effectively work within a team environment; Battlefield Equipment Rentals is committed to creating an inclusive environment where people from all backgrounds can thrive.
