Torcan Lift Equipment is a Canadian owned and operated equipment Rental Company with a fleet of over 2,400 pieces of equipment. Torcan Lift has been providing its customers with quality aerial lift and material handling equipment in and around the Greater Toronto Area since 1999. Torcan Lift Equipment is seeking to hire a full time, permanent dispatcher/Rental coordinator. Our team is looking for a driven, independent, and knowledgeable individual who is ready to grow and excel in their career!

• Oversee dispatch of drivers within the metro-area to maximize efficiency and customer delivery responsiveness
• Monitor driver progress and adjust schedules as pick-up and delivery orders come in
• Maximize truck loads outbound and inbound
• Optimize use of overtime and outside haulers to deliver superior customer service
• As needed, support our 2nd branch in maintaining customer relations via phone, making additions, cancellations, and changes regarding equipment location or delivery time
• Demonstrate commitment to safety and discipline through exemplary personal compliance, accountability and pro-active communication
• Perform all safety inspections within company and governmental policies
• Other duties assigned as needed
• Using our Rental Management system to process delivery and pick up orders for clients and internal sites
• Communicating delayed orders, partial pick-ups or equipment set-up with customers
• Wiring and closing contracts, invoicing equipment pick up\'s and making outbound calls to our clients
• Summarizing and reporting daily productivity to your supervisor

Job Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver\'s license (G) with acceptable driving record
• Technical knowledge of Ministry of Transportation regulations including the electronic logbook
• Diligent attention to safety
• Strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Strong leadership, organization and communication skills
