Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Renovation Laborer to join our team. This position involves a variety of tasks related to general labor and painting, ensuring that projects are completed to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in renovations, painting, and construction, and a willingness to take on additional responsibilities such as restoration and installation work. A strong work ethic and the ability to perform heavy lifting are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as needed. Execute construction painting tasks with precision, ensuring high-quality finishes. Assist with restoration projects, including caulking and minor repairs. Support installation efforts for various structures and fixtures as required. Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution. Perform heavy lifting and physical labor as necessary on job sites. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols. Assist in site preparation, such as floor protection, dust wall erection, and construction cleaning.

Qualifications

Previous experience in painting or general labor is preferred. Familiarity with construction processes, including caulking and electrical work, is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the workday. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality workmanship. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. A valid driver's license may be required for transportation to job sites. Willingness to learn new skills and take on various tasks as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: $17.50-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 50 per week
