Job Overview


As a Relief Staff member, you will play a crucial role in supporting our full-time team by stepping in during absences, vacations, or peak times. You will assist in the day-to-day care and supervision of residents, providing support with daily living activities, personal care, and recreational activities.

Duties



oAssist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal prep.

Support residents in participating in community outings and recreational activities. Help maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents. Monitor and document resident progress and report any changes to the supervisory staff. Administer medications as needed, following proper training and protocols. Work collaboratively with the full-time team to ensure the well-being and dignity of all residents.

Requirements



oHuman Service Counsellor Diploma or equivalent.

oExperience working with individuals with disabilities or in a care giving rolewould be considered an asset.

First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
oValid drivers license
