Classification 6, $25.60 - $26.39 per hour, as per the BCGEU Support Collective Agreement. Temporary employees are provided an additional $0.58 on regular earnings in lieu of benefits, and 6% vacation pay, for all regular hours worked. The period between Christmas and New Year's Day is unpaid time off.

This is a relief, on-call position to provide coverage for leaves, and/or to provide additional coverage for events throughout the year.
The purpose of the
Campus WelcomeReception
position is to provide quality service to students, staff, and visitors through the delivery of receptionist duties and general administrative support for the campus. The position is responsible for managing the main reception desk of the campus, providing mailroom services, and managing the room bookings for internal and external users.
Shifts occur between 8:30am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday.
Qualifications:
Required:
Office Administration certificate with one year of relevant work experience (a combination of education and experience may be considered).
Experience and proficiency with a current version of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Ability to manage a multi-line telephone switchboard, work independently with minimal supervision and work collaboratively with colleagues.
A current and valid driver's license.
Preferred:
Familiarity with student records registration system would be an asset.
