At First Light, relationships guide our advocacy, growing through connection with community, a spirit of reciprocity, and the collective responsibility we carry together.
As the Relational Connections Coordinator, you support the alignment and coordination of grassroots engagement and municipal reconciliation work within the Advocacy Department. While the Manager of Knowledge Mobilization provides strategic direction across research, policy, and systems-change efforts, you ensure the day-to-day flow of information, relationships, and commitments moves clearly and coherently through the team.
This role strengthens how insights from community members, Elders, Knowledge Holders, and local partners support First Light's broader systems-change goals. You help braid community perspectives into advocacy, ensuring that engagement efforts are culturally grounded, relationally accountable, and aligned with organizational priorities.
Working collaboratively across the Advocacy Team and other departments, you help ensure that community and municipal initiatives remain connected, coordinated, and grounded in shared purpose.
