Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Immigration Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in assisting clients with immigration processes, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing exceptional customer service. The role involves managing complex documentation, coordinating with various stakeholders, and utilizing a range of computer applications to streamline case management.

Responsibilities



Provide expert guidance to clients on immigration procedures and requirements Prepare, review, and submit immigration applications and supporting documents accurately and timely Maintain comprehensive records of client interactions and case statuses using databases and records management systems Communicate effectively with clients, government agencies, and internal teams via phone, email, and in-person meetings Conduct research on immigration laws and policy updates to ensure compliance and provide up-to-date advice Manage project timelines using tools such as Microsoft Project and SharePoint to ensure efficient case progression Assist in organizing seminars or informational sessions to educate clients about immigration options Negotiate with authorities or third-party vendors when necessary to facilitate application processes Support administrative functions including filing, procurement, data entry, and document management

Skills



Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Microsoft Access; experience with SharePoint is a plus Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; bilingual ability in French is highly desirable Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously Demonstrated analysis skills for evaluating client documentation and legal requirements Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project or similar platforms Exceptional customer service skills with a professional demeanor Knowledge of databases, records management, filing systems, and procurement procedures Effective negotiation skills for liaising with government agencies or external partners Strong time management skills to meet deadlines efficiently Leadership qualities for guiding clients through complex processes and collaborating within teams Ability to adapt quickly to changing regulations and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

Job Types: Full-time, Casual

Pay: $31,861.95-$70,201.79 per year
