We are expanding our team and looking for a licensed Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) who shares our passion for providing quality, ethical immigration guidance.

Position Overview



As a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) with Align Horizons Immigration, you will play a key role in guiding clients through the complex pathways of Canadian immigration. Working remotely, you will conduct consultations, prepare and oversee immigration applications, and collaborate with administrative staff to ensure each client receives accurate, timely, and compassionate service. Whether you are seeking a full-time or part-time role, this position offers flexibility, independence, and the opportunity to contribute to a growing firm dedicated to making the immigration process clearer and more accessible for newcomers to Canada.

Key Responsibilities



Conduct consultations with international clients across various immigration programs (temporary, permanent, and business). Assess eligibility and develop personalized immigration strategies. Prepare and submit applications in compliance with IRPA and IRPR. Maintain accurate, organized, and compliant client files. Collaborate with Head Coordinator, assistants, and support staff to ensure complete and timely submissions compliant with Canadian immigration requirements. Maintain records of all communications, submissions, and follow-ups with clients. Represent Align Horizons Immigration with professionalism and empathy. Uphold strict confidentiality and compliance standards in line with Align Horizons' values and Canadian immigration regulations.

Qualifications



Completion of the Immigration Practitioner Program, Graduate Diploma in Immigration and Citizenship Law from Queen's University, DESS from Universite de Montreal, or equivalent qualification approved by the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC). Must be an active RCIC in good standing with the CICC (required). RCICs registered with MIFI (Quebec) and/or Saskatchewan are strongly encouraged to apply. Strong knowledge of Canadian immigration programs, IRPA, and IRPR. Previous experience handling immigration applications or consultations (asset, but not required). Familiarity with IRCC and provincial portals (GCKey, PR Portal, Arrima, OINP e-filing, etc.). Excellent communication skills (written and verbal): English Required. French, Spanish, Filipino, Mandarin, or Arabic are strong assets Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently while staying aligned with remote supervision. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and digital communication tools. High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to ethical practices.

Compensation



This role follows a revenue-sharing model under a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA):

A defined percentage of revenues from consultations you conduct. A defined percentage of revenues from retainer agreements signed through your work or referrals.
Specific percentages will be discussed during the interview and clearly outlined in the MOA.
