Responsibilities

Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage. Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical conditions and discuss their specific needs and preferences. Maintain accurate records of client sessions, including treatment plans and progress notes using appropriate medical terminology. Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients before, during, and after treatments. Communicate effectively with clients to provide education on self-care practices and the benefits of regular massage therapy. Uphold professional standards of conduct and adhere to all health and safety regulations. Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and stay updated on industry trends.

Requirements

Valid city license or certification in massage therapy. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred but not required. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on building rapport with clients. Physical stamina to perform massages for extended periods while maintaining proper body mechanics.
