Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. This role involves assessing patient needs, developing personalized treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic massages to promote relaxation and pain management.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs and health conditions. Provide high-quality massage therapy services, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patient assessments and goals. Educate patients on the benefits of massage therapy and self-care techniques for pain management. Maintain accurate records of treatments provided and patient progress. Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all clients. Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and best practices in massage therapy. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to support overall patient wellness.

Qualifications

Valid state licensure or certification in massage therapy. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and occupational health principles. Experience in providing excellent customer service and maintaining positive patient relationships. Previous experience in a med spa or clinical setting is preferred but not required. Ability to perform various types of massage techniques tailored to individual client needs. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service and satisfaction. A commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education in the field of massage therapy.
