We are seeking a passionate Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team. Key Responsibilities:



Client Communication:

Communicate effectively with pet owners. Educate clients about at-home care and medications. Offer emotional support and empathy to clients during challenging situations.
Surgical Assistance:

Prepare surgical suites, instruments, and equipment. Assist surgeons during procedures and monitor anesthesia. Provide post-operative care and monitoring.
Diagnostic Imaging and Laboratory Procedures:

Perform diagnostic imaging, such as X-rays and ultrasounds, as needed. Conduct laboratory tests, including blood work, urinalysis, fecals etc as needed.
Qualifications:

Valid certification as a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in New Brunswick. Experience in veterinary medicine is considered an asset. Proficiency in using veterinary software and technology. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to remain calm and focused in high-stress situations. Physical stamina and the ability to lift 50 lbs, or 23 kgs, and restrain animals when necessary. Commitment to upholding ethical standards and providing exceptional patient care. Equine experience is an asset.
Schedule:

8 to 10 hour shifts Monday to Friday No On-Call or After Hours
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.50-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
