Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate RVT to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to animals while assisting the veterinarian in various medical procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for animal welfare and possess the necessary skills to thrive in a fast-paced veterinary environment.

Duties

Assisting veterinarian with exams, treatments, and diagnostics Placing IV catheters, performing blood draws, and administering medications Monitoring anesthesia and the health and behavior of animals with care and precision before, during, and after procedures. Performing dental cleanings and capturing full-mouth radiographs Maintaining accurate and complete medical records and documentation for each patient. Educating pet owners on proper care, nutrition, and preventive health measures. Ensuring cleanliness and organization of the clinic, including sterilization of instruments and equipment. Providing compassionate support to both animals and their owners during visits.

Requirements

Certification or degree in Veterinary Technology from an accredited program.( OAVT licensed) Minimum 1-year experience required Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively. Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately in various situations. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping.
