Job Summary


We are looking to grow our amazing team - we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Veterinary Technician to join us. In this role, you'll use your RVT skills in all areas - from anesthesia monitoring and lab work to client communication and patient care - and everything in between! The ideal candidate will be passionate about animal care, possess strong communication skills, a love of learning, and ready to join a positive clinic culture.

Responsibilities



Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and procedures. Perform laboratory tests, including blood work, urinalysis, and other diagnostic procedures. Administer medications, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian. Monitor and record patient vital signs and behaviors. Prepare animals for surgery and assist in post-operative care. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinic environment, including sterilization of instruments. Educate pet owners on proper animal care, nutrition, and preventive health measures.

Requirements



Successful completion of an accredited Veterinary Technician program. Eligible to write the VTNE or already Registered in good standing. Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with team members and pet owners. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Compassionate attitude towards animals and their owners. Positive attitude & thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour
