Position Summary

We're looking for an engaged and motivated Psychotherapist (RP) or Social Worker (RSW) to join our team as a contractor (part-time) with the opportunity to transition to full-time as your caseload grows and the fit is right. You will work in our in-person clinic space, delivering high-quality therapy services aligned with our values and model.

Compensation & Model

Rate: $100-$120 per hour, or 75/35 contractor split for groups and other treatments/services. Clinic space provided: you will receive a welcoming and fully furnished therapy room in our Port Dover office. Part-time to start; ability to scale hours/full-time as appropriate.
Key Responsibilities

Provide individual, couples, family and/or group psychotherapy or counselling services, consistent with your credentials and the needs of our client base. Maintain high-quality clinical standards consistent with our agency values. Collaborate with the team at Laka Wellness; engage in training, peer discussion and clinical best practice. Contribute to the welcoming and supportive environment our clients enjoy and expect. Maintain clinical documentation, abide by professional ethics and regulatory requirement
Ideal Candidate

Registered Psychotherapist (RP) or Registered Social Worker (RSW) in Ontario, in good standing Experienced clinician comfortable working with individuals, couples and families. Training/experience with children is considered a strong asset. Minimum 3-5 years of clinical experience providing psychotherapy or counselling, preferably in a private practice or community mental health setting. Comfortable working in a private-practice environment, delivering therapy services in-person and virtually. Values aligned with our mission: holistic, client-centred, wellness-oriented. Good communication skills, ability to build rapport, depth of empathy and professional presence. Willingness to collaborate with peers and engage in ongoing training and professional development. Warm, welcoming, non-judgmental attitude; able to support a positive therapeutic environment.
