Job Description

We are a Winnipeg based collaborative out-patient treatment facility for eating disorders and disordered eating, as well as counselling for health behaviour change and managing the emotional underpinnings of chronic illness. We are a group nutrition counseling practice of registered dietitians, registered social workers, and occupational therapist looking to expand our team in order to better serve our clients. Many of our clients require a collaborative approach to help improve their mental health, in turn being able to work on their nutrition.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO BRING HIS OR HER EXPERTISE TO THE TEAM AS A INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR COUNSELLING CLINICIAN:

Successful candidates would have training and experience in providing counselling/therapy to individuals, couples, and/or families in one or more of the following areas:

Eating Disorder/ Disordered Eating (Adult & Adolescents) Depression, Anxiety, Stress Coping with Illnesses Trauma Grief and Loss Life and Career Transitions Workplace Challenges and Issues Marriage and Family Issues Interpersonal/Relationship Issues

MUST HAVE KNOWLEDGE / INTEREST TO LEARN IN A FEW OF THE FOLLOWING AREAS:

Trauma informed Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional client-centered service and care. Ability maintain client files. Familiarity with a range of evidence-based treatment modalities and approaches. Strong organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills. Ability to work independently as well as to contribute actively to team or treatment plan objectives. Superior communication skills (oral and written). Proficiency in MS Office and full computer literacy.
QUALIFICATIONS

1-2+ years clinical & counselling experience Registered social worker or psychotherapist Must carry malpractice insurance Must be licensed to practice in Manitoba

Pay: $85.00-$105.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
