Position Requirements

:

Interest in working with clients who have sustained traumatic injuries. Experience in MVA is an asset. Opportunities for working with adult and/ or paediatric populations. Experience with using a variety of evidence-based therapy modalities. Assess and treat clients virtually and in the community Strong aptitude for report writing and attention to detail is a must Develop and implement group programs and webinars Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and time-management and organizational skills

Duties:

Conduct assessments and interviews with clients to gather relevant information and data Collect and analyze data related to clients' social, emotional, and psychological needs Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings Provide counseling and support services to clients and their families Collaborate with other professionals, such as healthcare providers and community organizations, to coordinate services for clients Monitor client progress and make adjustments to care plans as needed Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation

Qualifications:

Master's Degree or recognized equivalent in Social Work and/or mental health-related field

Registered and in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers or, The College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario Professional liability insurance Vulnerable Sector Check Access to a reliable vehicle
