Job Description

We're looking for a compassionate, grounded, and dedicated therapist to join our practice as a

sub-contractor

. This part-time or casual role is ideal for a

Registered Social Worker (RSW)

,

Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC)

, or

Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC)

who values connection, collaboration, and providing meaningful support to clients.

The ideal candidate brings warmth and professionalism to their work, with a strong foundation in mental health care, case management, and client-centered practice.

Responsibilities:

Provide short- and long-term counselling to individuals. Develop personalized care and treatment plans. Maintain accurate and confidential clinical notes. Participate in team check-ins or case consultations when needed.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Counselling, Social Work, or a related field. Current registration and good standing with a recognized professional body (RSW, RCC, or CCC). Strong counselling and mental health skills, and a genuine passion for helping others. Ability to work independently while staying connected to a supportive team. Experience supporting individuals with depression, anxiety, panic, relationship challenges, grief/loss, and stress. Additional training in areas such as art therapy, play and child therapy, seniors counselling, pet loss, anger management, domestic violence, or neurodivergence is a strong asset. Some evening or weekend availability would be helpful.

Pay: $80.00-$100.00 per hour
