Full-Time Registered

Practical Nurse- Acute

Care

Under the direction of the Department


Manager, the RPN is responsible for the total


care of patients in the Acute Care Ward within


the Scope of Practice of an RPN. All employees


of the ERHHC share a duty and responsibility to


ensure a high level of client safety for patients


and residents.





This will be accomplished through active


employee involvement, continuous training,


and development, as well as a commitment to


compliance with policies, procedures, and


standards.

Qualifications:


The successful candidate should possess the


following:





Current Certificate of Competence, College of Nurses of Ontario


Competency in the practice of nursing and the ability to communicate, plan,


implement and evaluate nursing care


Recent experience in Acute Care Setting,
and evidence of continuous professional


growth
The ability to provide critical thinking, with
appropriate interventions.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to
communicate effectively with other staff,


patients and the public.
Current first aid and CPR Ability to provide regular attendance Bilingualism in French and English is
an asset





Benefits:





Wage up to $42.003/hr $2.26 per hour shift premium for evenings
and $2.77 per hour shift premium on


weekends


Position offers a competitive
compensation package including paid
