Registered Practical Nurse (RPN)

This role is located on-site at the Alexandra Hospital in Ingersoll, Ontario, and is scheduled at least

day a week (Mondays), with the possibility of additional Thursdays depending on operational needs

Scope and Responsibilities




Administrative Duties

Manage patient appointments, scheduling, and cancellations. Assist with patient intake, gathering of medical history, and gather information on current medical concerns. Maintain and update electronic medical records (EMR). Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries from patients or external healthcare providers. Assist with billing, invoicing, and processing insurance claims. Maintain office supplies and ensure a clean and organized workspace. Prepare examination rooms and assist healthcare providers as needed.

Clinical Support

Prepare patients for physician assessments or treatments by taking vital signs and reviewing medical history. Assist during patient examinations or procedures. Provide education to patients and encourage compliance with prescribed treatment plans. Manage and update patient medical charts and other clinical documentation.

Who We Are Looking For



Active RPN license registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) At least 1 year of experience in a clinical setting Proficiency in EMR systems and Microsoft Office Suite MOA Certificate or prior experience in an administrative role in a medical setting preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Knowledge of processing insurance claims and billing procedures
