Operating within the Seniors, Emergency, and Community Medicine Program, the CTU Medicine Unit (E3) is a clinical teaching unit that cares for patients with serious medical conditions. The interdisciplinary care team supports a primarily geriatric patient population with multi-system chronic illnesses.
As a valued member of the CTU Medicine healthcare team, the Registered Nurse (RN) provides leadership in the coordination of nursing care for patients with multisystem medical conditions including Diabetes, Dementia, Stroke and Acute Coronary syndromes. In collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team and community agencies, the RN provides compassionate and dedicated quality care for patients and their families. In accordance with the College of Nurses of Ontario standards and HHS\xe2\x80\x99 mission, vision, values and policies, the RN improves the health of our patients and residents through their evidence-based clinical practice and leadership in healthcare delivery.
