Your Opportunity:
As an RN you work as a member of the multidisciplinary health care team in the in-patient acute psychiatric nursing unit collaborating on the delivery of holistic, comprehensive care to meet the needs of individuals, families and communities. You provide excellence in nursing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care developing strong skills in mental status assessment, de-escalation, and conflict resolution. The opportunity to be a strong advocate for the patient is an integral role as you will facilitate the appeal process for patient certification as well as speaking to the patient's level of functioning in front of an AMH review panel board. You will develop your group facilitation skills as all nursing staff within AMH are responsible for facilitating and delivering group content to the patients. RPNs welcome to apply.
