Your Opportunity:
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for the provision of direct patient care on Unit 71. The RN will participate in all duties and responsibilities required to care for cardiology and medical patients, aligning with the patient and family centered care strategy. The successful candidate will be a key member of the team utilizing the Integrated Collaborative Practice model of CoACT. They will be able to effectively provide leadership to others, work well within a multidisciplinary team setting and have the ability to work independently. The RN on Unit 71 is expected to actively participate in quality improvement initiatives set out by the unit quality council. They will work in an organized manner as well as strive to seek out educational opportunities. Other unit specific duties include collaboration of care with the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and/or Health Care Aide (HCA) and other members of the multidisciplinary team. This is a Days/Evenings rotation.
