Registered Early Childhood Educator (Part-Time)

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

We are currently seeking a caring, collaborative, and passionate Registered Early Childhood Educator to join our team.

Registered with the College of Early Childhood Educators (mandatory) A positive team player who thrives in collaborative environments Passionate about nurturing young children aged 2-3 Reliable, punctual, and proactive about maintaining a safe and enriching environment Inspired by Reggio Emilia approaches and outdoor learning (asset) Familiar with Jewish traditions and holidays (asset)

What You'll Do:

Understand and support the developmental needs of children aged 2-3 Work collaboratively with fellow educators in lesson and program planning Supervise and ensure children's safety and well-being at all times Respect and adapt to individual learning and developmental levels Communicate regularly with parents regarding each child's progress Maintain daily observations and child development records Prepare and clean the classroom environment daily Ensure all equipment and environments are free of safety or health hazards Perform light to moderate physical tasks (e.g. lifting up to 20 kg)

Qualifications & Requirements:

Registered with the College of Early Childhood Educators CPR/First Aid certification (up to date) Vulnerable Sector Screening (up to date) TB test and immunization record (up to date) Experience with Reggio Emilia and outdoor learning is an asset Knowledge of Jewish traditions and holidays is an asset
