Position Summary

We are seeking a warm, dependable, and collaborative

Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE)

to join our Toddler team. RECEs at The Clover School act in the role of

Assistant Teacher

, working closely with a certified Montessori Lead Teacher to support the daily rhythm, care, and learning of the children in their classroom.

This is a

full-time, Monday to Friday

position.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Lead Montessori Teacher in maintaining a calm, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment Assist with daily classroom routines, transitions, and care needs Build nurturing, responsive relationships with children and families Observe and document children's development using Montessori-informed practices and the Ministry of Education's How Does Learning Happen?*
Communicate professionally and respectfully with families and team members Contribute to a culture of equity, respect, and inclusion in the classroom and school community

Qualifications

Registered and in good standing with the

College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE)

Minimum of 1 year experience working with young children (experience in a Montessori setting is an asset but not required) Strong reliability and punctuality; a team player with excellent communication skills Current Standard First Aid with CPR-C certification and up-to-date immunization record Ability to meet the physical demands of the role (e.g., bending, lifting, floor play) A positive attitude and a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth
