Job Description

We are looking for an RECE for a role in our fully licensed Childcare Centre in Port Elgin, Ontario. We are looking for a mature, responsible individual with a passion for children's early learning journeys.

The role would include but not limited to:

-Knowledge of CCEYA, ELECT and How Does Learning Happen

-Implement Play Based Activities following How Does Learning Happen & ELECT

-Play and Engage with the children on a daily basis, following the children's needs/interests

-Provide opportunities for safe risk and appropriate play

-Build and maintain relationships with families

-Strong Communication skills, ability to work in a team and individually

-Assist with organization of classroom and centre (inside and outside)

-Maintain Confidentiality

-Collaborate with team members for room and program planning

-Ensure safety and well-being of children at all times

-With our local Bruce County resource program to understand and implement individual children needs

-Keep daily children information updated on the centres App

-Participate in Team Meetings and Educational Opportunities

-Valid First Aid/CPR Level C, VSS Check, Immunization Records

-Other duties as required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.75-$25.50 per hour
