First Milestones Education and Childcare is looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, fun, knowledgeable

Registered Early Childhood Educator with a minimum 2 years experience,

for the preschool room

Requirements:

RECE #

Two step TB test

First Aid and CPR Level C

Vulnerable Sector Check (with our name- upon hiring)

Minimum 2 years experience working full time in childcare (specifically preschool)

Responsibilities:

Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for children

Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow

Provide individualized support and guidance to children with special education needs

Communicate effectively with parents and families regarding their child's progress and development

Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment

Foster a love of learning through engaging and interactive lessons and activities

Skills:

Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.

Knowledge of ELCET

Knowledge of CCEYA

Knowledge of HHDLH

Ability to effectively communicate with children, parents, and colleagues.

Proficiency in computer operation and utilization of educational software.

Experience working with diverse populations, including bilingual children.

Classroom management skills to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Experience working with young children, understanding their developmental needs and milestones. Strong written communication skills in English, including the ability to write progress reports and communicate effectively through written correspondence.

Starting amount is subject to change depending on experience.

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
