Job Description
Aladin Childcare Services offers educational childhood programs to children from birth to 12 years of age, operating at four different locations in Ottawa.
Responsibilities
- need to meet the needs and supervise a group of school-aged children and provide support to our programs.
- conceives and implements developmentally appropriate programming and play based activities for the children, based on the provincial curriculum, How does Learning happen?
Qualifications and requirements
- to have an Early Childhood Educator diploma from a post-secondary institution or the equivalent.
- to be a member in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators of Ontario .
- to have pertinent experience working with children in a group setting.
- to have the capacity to work well in a team.
- to be able to speak, read and write fluently in English, knowledge of French is an asset.
- to have a valid copy of a police check to work with clients in the vulnerable sector which is less than 6 months old.
- to have a valid Standard First Aid, level C and CPR certificate and anaphylaxis training.
Duration and salary
- full time permanent position, starting November 3, 2025
-7.5 hours per day shift is 8:00-11:30 and 1:30-5:30
- salary according to the current pay scale
- benefits include a group insurance package and RSP's
