Job Description
Aladin Childcare Services offers educational childhood programs
to children from birth to 12 years of age,
operating at four different locations in Ottawa.
Responsibilities
- must meet the needs and supervise a group of kindergarten/school age children.
- conceives and implements developmentally appropriate programming and play based activities for the children, based on the provincial curriculum, How Does Learning Happen?
Qualifications and requirements
- to have an Early Childhood Educator diploma from a post-secondary institution or the equivalent is preferred but not required
- to be a member of the College of Early Childhood Educators of Ontario.
- to have pertinent experience working with children in a group setting.
- to have the capacity to work well in a team.
- to be able to speak, read and write fluently in English, knowledge of French is an asset.
- to have a recent copy (less than 6 months) of a Vulnerable Sector check completed
- to have a valid Standard First Aid and CPR level C certificate and anaphylaxis training.
Duration and salary
-part time permanent position, starting September 15, 2025.
- salary is according to the current pay scale, starting at $26.80 an hour
- benefits include a group insurance package and RSP's
