Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities for children
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
- Monitor and assess children's progress and provide feedback to parents
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a comprehensive curriculum
- Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, behavior, and development
- Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- Previous experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Bilingual proficiency in English and another language is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to use computerized systems for record keeping and communication

Skills:
- Ability to write effectively and communicate clearly with children, parents, and staff
- Proficiency in using computerized systems for record keeping and communication
- Strong educational background to effectively educate young children
- Bilingual skills are a plus for effective communication with diverse families
- Organizational skills to maintain a structured learning environment
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and techniques
- Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting, including those with special needs
